Originally John and I had planned on leaving for Mexico in the middle of January, but now that we have Wallace, we have to get him a doggy passport in order to travel with us. We also had to get him neutered and vaccinated. We are now back in Tucson visiting my mom and family and helping her out around the house with landscaping (planting, running irrigation, etc...) It should only take another week or so to get Wallace's paperwork in order and then we will be off on our trip down the Pan-American.
So we said our goodbyes to my family and friends in California... lots of love your way! I had a kick back birthday with John and the weekend after we watched the Superbowl game at Barb's house (friend of my dad's) hence the picture of us with the 3D glasses. It was great being able to visit my best friend Heather and Uncle Ricky in L.A. and also my childhood friend Melissa. I didn't get a chance to see many of my former co-workers from Trader Joe's, but I was able to connect with my super rockin cool friend Jeremy! We had a family reunion which was wonderful because I always look forward to them every year (at least the years that we can have them) and I get to see all of my cousins. I also got to see Auntie Susie (I Love You!!!) and my brother's Chris and Greg. A big 'thank you' goes out to my dad who was very hospitable and just overall awesome as well as my good ol' Meema (grandma)!
